Blue Project in East Campus
In order to implement the concept of  ‘everything for the development of the students, all for the sake of the development of the teachers, and everything for the development of the school’, strive to create a good atmosphere and teaching and research culture conducive to the professional growth of teachers, and better promote the growth of every teacher in the school, on the afternoon of 26th February, Anqing Foreign Language School's Junior High Department held the opening ceremony of the Blue Project for the second semester of the 2020-2021 school year in the conference room of the administrative building.
Initially, through this activity, Anqing Foreign Language School plans to let experienced teachers lead new teachers, and make new teachers promote experienced teachers, striving to build a team of teachers with noble ethics, excellent professional skills, innovation and hard work. The informative activity was presided over by Director Hu Sen of the Junior High Department.
At the beginning of the meeting, Director Hu Sen announced the master and apprentice pair list. A total of 7 pairs of teachers were paired up.
Later on, Director Hu Sen affirmed the results of last semester's Blue Project, set clear objectives of carrying out master and apprentice pairing work, which is not only to help young teachers to improve their ethics, enrich their professional experience and expand their educational horizons through the words and deeds of mature teachers, but also to leverage the vitality of school teachers through the energy injection of young teachers with their youthful passion, professional knowledge and fresh power. In the meantime, Director Hu Sen emphasized the different responsibilities of mature teachers and young teachers in daily education and teaching work in the future.
On the whole, Director Li Ping used two sentences to encourage all teachers, one of which is that teachers and students should make progress together, and the other of which is that teachers should make achievements for themselves and students as well. What’s more, Director Li Ping proposed the general goal of professional development for young teachers, pointed out the direction of progress and efforts, and encouraged all teachers to constantly enrich their teaching concepts and improve their professional quality.
